Information gathering

After agreeing to work with Rentology, an initial appointment is made to come out and view your rental property. Walking through the unit allows us to get as much detail as possible. The more information we know, the more effective we can be at marketing your unit. While there, we will photograph your unit to make the marketing campaign we launch more visually appealing. Your future renters will want to see pictures!

Marketing

Rentology markets your property with a multi-dimensional approach, incorporating traditional and new tech savvy applications. With the fast pace of the rental market, online marketing methods are most effective. Rentology utilizes a variety of web based platforms which allow us to have more effective marketing campaigns, bringing you more renters! Schedule Showings

Showing apartment is a full time commitment. Our highly qualified staff is available all hours of the day, allowing more showings and a greater chance of getting your apartment rented. Well versed in the showing process, our full time leasing agents will schedule appointments with your tenants, allowing you to be more free.

Application Process

Once one of our clients has decided to apply, we take them through a full application process. Rentology looks at each applicant’s credit history to verify if the future tenant will be a good fit for you. Additionally, Rentology provides employment and tenancy verifications free of charge.

Lease Execution

After receiving your approval, we take your future tenant through the lease signing process and receive the necessary payments to secure the apartment. Rentology provides a standard City of Chicago lease and a lease rider outlining building specific rules and regulations or can incorporate any customized documents that you chose to provide. Once signed by the tenants, we deliver the signed lease agreement and appropriate riders to you for your final approval.
